As an interesting follow up to the post on Neiman Marcus I present this set of XX emails from Bloomingdale's. Interestingly these emails look remarkably similar to the Neiman Marcus ones. This one also features a heavy usage of photography, a dash of illustration, and a text focused design here and there. While all these emails essentially share the same template I really love how the content of each is so specific. I can't help but wonder though, couldn't these emails just contain the content section and scrap the framework stuff. I wonder how much use that stuff gets? I would think a focused email that draws people in on a primary premise would be ideal. Anyhow, enjoy the samples.
