In the Geeks.com sample set we find a nice variety of design. In this case it is not so much in the variety of layout formulas, but rather in the way the content has been hand crafted. These are by no means created by a program automatically. A designers hand is clearly visible in each custom designed email campaign. This level of attention not only reflects a clear effort for great customer relations, but most likely reveals the value of these blasts. Of cousre they wouldn't put so much time and energy (and therefore money) into these emails if they didn't produce sales.

Interesting, never looked at their emails constructively like that. I subscribe to them simply because they do have stuff very cheap and it's good stuff for what it is. And yeah I'm probably one of the clickers supporting their email efforts.
