This makes email newsletters a really logical approach as these consumers are often open to any news related to their favorite team. Like a rabid fan these readers love to get mail about sports. Interestingly this passion means that designers don't have to sell the product as much. This often results in more content focused email designs that focus on delivering news and not visual impact.
