One thing it is becoming really clear the more I catalog here on Spam Meltdown is that each industry has a style to it that most brands seem to follow. This blows me away. I wouldn't think it possible that everyone be producing such similar end results when it is unlikely they all see every email blast the other companies do. How does this happen? I am puzzled, becuase this seems to be happening in many other industries.
This set in particular seems be imitate print in a way. These designs a certainly not focused on fitting the standard web model. Instead the pretty much look like a one sheet ad you might get in the Sunday newspaper. Is this good or bad? I have no idea. I guess it must work pretty well, they are all doing it.
